The RIVERE Ecological Center will be a purpose-built coworking hub, as part of a proposed revitalization of the historic Embrey Power Station in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The RIVERE Center will be designed to bring together the people and organizations advancing watershed health, ecological understanding, environmental innovation, and community engagement. RIVERE is not the research institution itself — it is the space where research happens. It is not the school — it is the place where learning is brought to life. It is not the incubator — it is the home where ecopreneurs work, collaborate, and grow.

By hosting scientists, educators, nonprofits, government agencies, startups, students, and community members under one roof, RIVERE will create the conditions for collaboration, storytelling, experimentation, and innovation that no single organization could convene alone.
